Applicorp and Pokulator LLC, two mobile application development companies, launched a new application designed specifically for WSOP fans and players. The application provides users a WSOP 2010 calendar and features all WSOP events.
For both players and spectators, the new iPhone application customizes the search results of events that interest them. It also shortens the time required to find tournaments with specific buy-ins, structures, rewards and other features.
With so many WSOP tournament events available, players often find it difficult and confusing to identify a contest that suits their level of play and/or their budget. The WSOP iPhone application makes this easier. After each event, it automatically communicates the results of the WSOP tournament and additional information useful to players and fans.
The application is free and is compatible with all types of iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple’s latest creation, the iPad. It is available for download at the iTunes Store.
This new technology will undoubtedly open the door to new applications related to poker. It is not the first time that Pokulator and Applicorp have cooperated in order to create applications for the poker community. Recently, they launched The Women of Poker, an iPhone application that functions as a sort of digital photo album, offering news, videos, photos, statistics and biographies on the most famous, popular and attractive female poker players.
