On Sunday night in Los Angeles Lady Gaga managed to bring home only two Grammy’s out of the five which she was nominated. The popular single “Poker Face” won for Best Dance Recording and her album “The Fame” featuring the super popular single, won for Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Despite the disappointment of not winning in the most prestigious categories, Best Song of the Year and Best Album of the Year, Lady Gaga had the honor of opening the event in a duet with Elton John, with whom she sang her famous single “Poker Face.” Lady Gaga failed to keep her poker face on before the performance and burst into tears with emotion.

Lady Gaga stated she was thrilled and honored to have the occasion to sing with one of the most famous singers in the world. Tears ruined her makeup just a few minutes before the ceremony, but the expert makeup artist on duty was able to give her back her Poker Face in a matter of minutes.
