Italians confirm that they are a nation of poker players according to the latest survey from Everest Poker, a leading poker site online. The survey analyzed in depth the Italian market, revealing data of great interest.

According to the results, more and more Italians are increasingly choosing vacation destinations which offer the opportunity to play poker or casino. There are gamers who are primarily interested in the opportunity to play and others who would rather go to places that offer interesting tourist attractions in addition to gambling facilities.

The first choice is always Las Vegas, legendary capital of gambling. In addition to the traditional temples of gambling, travelers are choosing new “gaming locations” that offer vacation packages designed specifically for this market segment.

Two of the most popular destinations are Portorose in Slovenia and Austria. The Austrian casinos, which offer especially rich and interesting packages, claim that 21% of their clientèle is Italian. Even overseas offers are not lacking: the favorite destinations are the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, with its famous Mantra Resort Spa & Casino.
